We hope to follow this up with live streaming matched to the already successful KTRK 101.5 radio broadcasts for football for the 2011 season. l In addition, we plan to have a selected schedule for Girls and Boys Soccer and for Volleyball.

Volunteers are needed to help with these efforts and we will be publicizing this later in the year.

Our mission is to foster community awareness and communication through local programming from individuals, groups and agencies. We serve the Truckee, North Tahoe area with interesting and informative programs through Channel 6, Channel 24 and online video streaming.

Live Internet Streaming of Local Meetings is underway!
Indexed Archives are Available for Viewing.

The Town of Truckee, Truckee Donner Public Utility District and Tahoe Truckee Unified School District are all streaming their board meetings via TTCTV. The Town Council, Truckee Planning Commission and TDPUD meetings are currently being indexed to their agendas when the archived file is retrieved for viewing. Indexing for TTUSD meeting archives will start in late July.

TRUCKEE TALKS with Maia Schneider is back and Online!

Long-time TTCTV supporter, contributor and host Maia Schneider is back with her eclectic mix of topics and guests to explore the many issues and interests that make our area so interesting. Over the last 15 years Maia has hosted over 250 episodes of this show and, after a year-long hiatus, she has returned with her usual enthusiasm and seemingly endless knowledge about the topics she covers.

TTCTV now broadcasting Nevada County Board meetings on Channel 24.

Now that we have a direct digital feed from NCTV (Nevada County Television) we are able to broadcast Nevada County Board meetings in real-time. We have up to now received the meetings pre- taped. In addition the meetings will be re-brodcast several times a week on channel 24. Stay tuned for a revised schedule.

  Channel 24 Joins the TTCTV Lineup

Due to our expanded government meeting coverage we have now added a new Channel 24 to provide Government meeting coverage for the Truckee-Tahoe region, including meetings from Town of Truckee Town Council, Town of Truckee Planning Commission, Truckee Donner PUD Board, Nevada County Board of Supervisors, Placer County Board of Supervisors, and Truckee Tahoe Unified School District Board. Channel 24 will also provide educational programming from the likes of the Kennedy Center For The Arts. Channel 6 will still air all of your local community access programming including current events shows, high school sports coverage, and locally produced projects.
